Self-Hypnosis

Find a quiet place for the next 15 minutes. Set that limit in your mind.

Take 3 deep breaths & close your eyelids.

Create a scene of relaxation like the beach, mountains, an island, etc.

Once the scene is completed, really pretend, imagine, make believe that you are in this scene.

Now imagine your body relaxing. Feel a wave of relaxation that starts at your scalp and oozes down to the tips of your toes (or toes to your scalp).

Now you can go deepen your trance by telling yourself that as you count backwards from 10 to one, you will drift deeper with every count. You can also visualize yourself walking down 10 stairs or riding an elevator from floor ten to one if you like.

Focus on your transformation (what you want to accomplish). Give yourself positive suggestions in the present tense & in a positive way. (avoid negative suggestions)

Suggestions like: I am eating smaller amounts and feel completely satisfied. I enjoy eating foods that are good for me. Healthy choices are delicious.

Train your brain for next time. Say to yourself: I will go into hypnosis faster and deeper anytime I choose.

Exit hypnosis.

If time for sleep: when I reach the count of one, I will drift off to a beautiful night’s sleep (count 5 to 1).

Or, on the count of five, I will be wide awake, feeling refreshed and alert. (count 1 to 5)
